1907

  • German Pinelli (born Germán Piniella Vázquez de Mella - November 20, 1995 in Havana, Cuba) is born on December 15, 1907 in Havana, Cuba.  He will become a famous national broadcaster whose voice is known and loved by millions in Cuba.

1966

  • Ana Maria Paez is born on January 9th in Havana.

1973

  • German Pinelli is born on September 24th in Havana.

1976

  • Ari Pinelli is born on June 9th in Havana.

1979

  • Maykel Vincens is born on August 26th in Havana.

1980

  • Magela Crespo is born on April 9th in Havana.

1983

  • Pablo Milanes sings “Tu Eres la Musica Que Tengo Que Cantar,” written by Tony Pinelli and wins the premiere Cuban music contest, the Adolfo Guzman.

1985

  • >Tirso Luis Paez is born on May 16th in Havana.

1988

  • Ana Paez graduates from Escuela Direccion Nacional de Radio.

1992

  • German Pinelli graduates from Escuela Ignacio Cervantes.


1993

  • 3 de la Habana forms as a group and performs in Barcelona, Spain.

1995

  • Ari Pinelli graduates from Escuela Pedro Ortiz Cabrera.

  • 3 de la Habana records its first album with Ahi Na’Ma Music.  Several prestigious Latin artists participate, including Efrain Rios.

1996

  • 3 de la Habana returns twice to Spain, first performing in Bilbao at the Morro, then to Asturias and Island Guadalupe (French Providence).

  • 3 de la Habana journeys to Italy, where they play (with several Cuban artists such as Beatriz Marquez and the group Los Ibeyis.

1999

  • Maykel Vicens graduates from Escuela Nacional de Arte.

  • 3 de la Habana participate at the Festival Internacional de Teatro in Colombia.

2000

  • Magela Crespo graduates from Escuela Nacional de Arte.

  • 3 de la Habana performs in Australia, touring several Australian cities, finishing in Sydney at the Fiesta Festival in Darling Harbor.

  • 3 de la Habana performs at the Arena Pier 10 in San Juan, Puerto Rico with the renowned Francisco Repilado – better known as Company Segundo of the Buena Vista Social Club.


2002

  • Tirso Luis Paez  graduates from Escuela Manuel Saumel.


  • Second Album, “Y Quienes Son?” is recorded at Eusebio Delfin Studios, (owned by BIS Music) in Cienfuegos, Cuba, in September.

2003

  • 3 de la Habana returns to Australia, beginning with the Ten Days on the Island festival in Tasmania, then finishing with  two performances at the Opera House in Sydney – the first Cuban group to headline in this famous venue.


  • 3 de la Habana travels to the United States to appear in Buffalo, New York and in Cleveland, Ohio, with the renowned Pio Leyva from the Buena Vista Social Club.


2004

  • 3 de la Habana travels to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for the opening of the club "Cubania".

2006

  • Third album “Sueña Como Yo” is recorded at EGREM Studios in Habana.

2007

  • 3 de la Habana travels to Cancun, Mexico, on a Cultural Exchange.

  • In December,  3 de la Habana enters the United States.

2008

  • In January, 3 de la Habana gives its first performance in Miami, Florida.
